RELAXING WITH STYLE

You didn't think I just relaxed did you?  Well actually up until a week ago i did. Now i crochet'. I know, I  know  crocheting is for girls and old maids. Well call me Grandma , because i like it.......

About a week ago i picked up my first bundle of yarn. My father's girlfriend always crocheted but i never thought twice about it, until now.  Instead of watching reruns of dexter i asked her if she could show me how to do it, hesitant at first not knowing if i was serious or joking she said sure!  You do this,this and this.  It was like some other language to me, but hey i love languages so i was all ear's. 


3 hours later i can't believe it I'm still doing it. At first it was all squiggly and messy but as I go on it's getting neater and neater!  Im hooked i proceeded to make several trips to the yarn store, and my imagination started to roar. So many colors and designs, also patterns but I'm not much of pattern kind of guy.  So now while relaxing or watching reruns of Dexter I'm also being creative.  Who knows how long this obsession will last, but i know for sure everyone I know will have a warm winter.


To think, i thought crocheting was for girls.  I think women just say that because they want to have all the fun..haha
